2008 AAMC Karting and Motorcycle Championships had its 5th round
Held on the 20-Jul-08 at the Coloane Karting Circuit, with all the participants competing in different race classes of the two Championships. The event included races of Senior Rok/Rotax Max Senior for Karting and 125cc Motorcycle, Mini Bike, 50/70cc and 125cc Scooter for Motorcycle. Although the weather was muggy on that day, it didn’t affect the mood of the drivers.
In the morning, all the karters and riders had their Practice and Qualifying preparing them for their first taste of close racing this year in the afternoon starting at 1:10pm. It attracted many spectators having come in from the city. The event was exciting and despite several minor incidents, it was completed smoothly and successfully. PRESS RELEASE

2008 AAMC Karting and Motorcycle Championships had its 4th round
Fired up on the 29-Jun-08 at the Coloane Karting Circuit, with all the participants competing in different race classes of the two Championships. The event included races of 125cc Motorcycle, Mini Bike, 50/70cc and 125cc Scooter for motorcycle and Senior Rok/ Rotax Max Senior for Karting. The Asian Karting Open Championship (AKOC) held its Round 1 of a total 5 Rounds in Macau this year with app. 60 competitors.
It was raining every day that week, but luckily on the final racing day it was shiny. In the morning, all the karters and riders had their Practice and Qualifying preparing them for their first taste of close racing this year in the afternoon starting at 3:30pm.
Besides the locals, karters and riders from other countries also took part in the event with 1 from China and Australia joining the Motorcycle races and Senior Rok race respectively. It attracted many spectators having flocked in from the city. The event was exciting, and it was completed smoothly and successfully. PRESS RELEASE
